Family Addition

Oh dear, an innocent comment while passing the pet shop has resulted in my Christmas present being a new kitten. She is rather cute, we adopted her from the Cat Centre yesterday. We already have a cat that we adopted from the Cat Centre 2 years ago. When I picked her up she stuck to me and wouldn't move, so we called her Velcro. This one is as cute as a button. So her name is Buttons.

A beach walk

On Saturday we went for a walk along the beach. It is a beach I have visited often while growing up, but not one that I've ever walked all the way to the left hand point. It didn't look that far. But 3.5 hours and some 16 kilometres later we realised it really is quite a distance.




We got back to the car at 8.45pm, just on sunset.

I was recently in Auckland, New Zealand. So off on one of my walks. 8.5km round trip and a climb up Mangere Mountain. Unfortunantly I had left my camera back at the hotel, so these photos were taken with my mobile phone. Not very good, but better than nothing.

Another walk

I like walking. It's amazing the views you can find. It's good that my family don't mind waiting while I puff my way up and down hills. Here are some pics from some of my recent walks.

Beach Walk

Last weekend I went for a walk along this beach. It was so pretty I thought I would share some photos with you.
